iClick partnered with Herdle to design and develop a custom mobile app and backend system that prioritises real-world social engagement. The platform allows users to browse and host events, connect 1-on-1 or in groups, and plan low-pressure meetups from trivia nights and coffee hangs to hiking trips, all based on shared interests.

Key features include event discovery and creation, intentional networking without swiping, safety-first design, and a scalable backend that supports real-time updates, dynamic event management, and user matching. Intuitive filters for time, location, and interests help users cut through the noise and focus on planning meaningful experiences.

The platform is designed with trust and safety in mind, incorporating curated attendee approvals, reporting tools, and community guidelines to ensure positive interactions. Herdle’s mobile app, available on iOS and Android, leverages cloud infrastructure, geolocation APIs, and real-time messaging to provide a seamless, responsive experience.
